Ganduje Urges unity, latience in christmas .essage to Nigerians

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has extended his warm Christmas greetings to Christians across Nigeria, urging them to reflect on the values of love, peace, and unity during the festive season.

In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Edwin Olofu, Ganduje described Christmas as a time for thanksgiving and fostering harmony, emphasizing the need for Nigerians of all faiths to embrace togetherness and mutual respect to build a united nation.

He called on citizens to demonstrate selflessness and generosity, particularly towards the less privileged, noting that such acts align with the spirit of the season.

Ganduje also appealed for patience from Nigerians as they endure the economic reforms introduced by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration. While acknowledging the discomfort these reforms have caused, he assured that visible improvements are already emerging, with better economic stability expected by next Christmas.

“The government’s efforts in securing the country are yielding positive results, as cases of banditry and kidnapping have significantly reduced,” Ganduje said.

He reaffirmed the APC leadership’s commitment to policies that will promote sustainable growth, security, and the welfare of all citizens.

The former governor of Kano State urged Nigerians to use the festive period to pray for peace, stability, and prosperity, as well as for the success of leaders at all levels of government.

Ganduje concluded by wishing Nigerians a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
