The Kogi State Government has launched a new monthly newsletter titled Lugard House Monthly to help citizens stay informed about the activities and achievements of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.
The Special Adviser on Media to the Governor, Hon. Ismaila Isah, announced the release of the first edition in a statement on Tuesday.
According to Isah, the newsletter is part of wider efforts by the government to promote transparency and share updates on projects, programmes, and policies of the Ododo-led administration.
“The newsletter will highlight the government’s work each month and serve as a portable directory of the governor’s engagements,” he said.
He added that the publication builds on the success of the Kogi Annual Media Report released in April 2025, which was widely praised.
Isah noted that Lugard House Monthly will be a trusted source of information for stakeholders, journalists, and researchers, and will help the public better understand how government actions are impacting lives in the state.
He described the initiative as “another milestone in media innovation” that will strengthen the state’s communication strategy and improve public trust.
The newsletter covers developments ranging from infrastructure and welfare to economic and social programmes.
