The National Coordinator of the Tinubu Health Sector Practitioners Alliance, TIHSEPA, Dr. Ogechi Lokpobiri, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the successful launch of his campaign in Kaduna State, describing the massive turnout as a clear referendum on the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The development is coming days after the alliance expanded its structures across the country to interface directly with healthcare professionals ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
However, Lokpobiri, who is the wife of the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Heineken Lokpobiri, said the successful outing in Kaduna has provided fresh momentum for the mobilisation group to aggressively market the impact of the administration’s health reforms to healthcare professionals nationwide.
She noted that the alliance has already set a target to mobilise massive votes for President Tinubu across primary and secondary health institutions, as well as among key healthcare stakeholders in the country.
Reaffirming the group’s commitment to selling the president’s achievements, the national coordinator insisted that the administration’s current investments in healthcare infrastructure, professional training, and maternal health remain fundamental to the country’s productivity.
She said, “President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda recognises that the health of Nigerians is fundamental to the country’s productivity, prosperity and future. Investments in healthcare infrastructure, professional training, maternal health and insurance coverage provide a foundation for building a stronger health system.”
With the 2027 presidential ballot approaching, the TIHSEPA coordinator urged health-sector practitioners to reject political distractions and throw their weight behind President Tinubu’s re-election bid to consolidate ongoing operational guidelines within the sector.
She maintained that a second term for the incumbent president would provide a critical opportunity to sustain current funding models, protect ongoing structural reforms, and drastically improve healthcare delivery nationwide.
