In a passionate plea to alleviate the suffering of Nigerians, Reverend Mother Esther Ajayi, the Founder of Love of Christ Generation Church, has urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to lead a campaign to flood the market with foodstuffs. Speaking at a press conference ahead of the special program “Comforting the Comforter,” scheduled for July 20, 2024, Rev. Ajayi emphasized the urgent need for the administration to address the current hardships faced by citizens.
Rev. Ajayi acknowledged the high expectations Nigerians have from President Tinubu’s leadership and highlighted the presence of saboteurs undermining the government’s efforts. She called on the administration to overcome these challenges by ensuring a massive supply of essential food items such as rice, fish, and yams.
“I am aware that there are people sabotaging the good intentions of the government, but let that be at the back of their minds and let the administration flood the market with food. Let there be Tinubu rice, Tinubu fish, Tinubu yam, etc.,” she stated.
Rev. Ajayi praised President Tinubu as a bold and courageous leader deserving of the prayers and support of all Nigerians. She encouraged citizens to shift their mindset, replacing curses with blessings for the country and its leaders.
“Tinubu is a bold and courageous leader. He is not a push-around person. He is going to turn our country around. As Nigerians, if we can just be a little patient, I can see us going to greater heights. It is not going to be long,” she said.
She also urged Nigerians to remain prayerful and hopeful, emphasizing that the current economic challenges are temporary. “Change your mindset about how you talk about your country,” she advised, noting that the negative words spoken about Nigeria have a profound impact.
Rev. Ajayi announced that the upcoming “Comforting the Comforter” program is expected to draw around one million participants, underscoring the significant interest and support for the event.
In her concluding remarks, Rev. Ajayi called for collective effort and faith in the nation’s leadership, encouraging everyone to contribute to a prosperous and developed Nigeria through positive speech and prayer.
