Bankole congratulates Yilwatda, calls his emergence a sign of renewed hope

A member of the National Working Committee, NWC, of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Aare (Hon.) Tolu Bankole, has congratulated Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda on his emergence as the new National Chairman of the ruling party.

In a statement on Thursday in Abuja, Bankole described Yilwatda’s emergence as “historic, deeply reassuring, and a sign of renewed hope” for the APC, especially at a time when visionary leadership is needed.

Bankole, who is also the National Leader of Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) in the APC, said the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction brings with him a wealth of experience from academia, digital innovation, humanitarian service, and electoral reforms.

“Your consistent advocacy for the vulnerable, particularly Persons with Disabilities, and your commitment to the ideals of good governance mark you out as a transformational leader,” he said.

He expressed full support for the new chairman and expressed confidence in Yilwatda’s capacity to unite the party and steer it toward future electoral victories.

Bankole also affirmed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s presidency will run its full course until 2031, adding that “no coalition of confusion can stop what God has ordained.”

He concluded by praying for wisdom, strength, and grace for Prof. Yilwatda as he begins the task of repositioning the party.
