Former President Goodluck Jonathan has hailed ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo on his 88 birthday on Wednesday, March 4, 2025.
Jonathan in a birthday message remarked on Obasanjo’s remarkable life and enduring legacy anchored on dedication, selfless service and unwavering patriotism.
He writes: “On your birthday, I join your family, friends, and well-wishers across the globe to celebrate your remarkable life and enduring legacy.
“Your journey has been one of dogged dedication to our nation, marked by selfless service, unwavering patriotism, and a strong commitment to the unity and progress of Nigeria.
“As a former Head of State and President, your contributions to the socio-political and economic development of our country and the advancement of our continent remain indelible.
“Your passion for peace, stability, equity and progress has continued to earn you respect and admiration across the world.”
He prayed that “God Almighty continues to bless you with good health, strength, and wisdom in the years ahead.
“May this day be filled with joy, peace, and the satisfaction of knowing that your life has been a blessing not just to your family but to the nation.”
