The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPC Ltd, has reiterated its commitment to global energy equity, cross-border partnerships, and sustainable investment.
Group Chief Executive Officer of the Company, Engr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari, stated this at the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference, ADIPEC, 2025, while participating in a closed-door session of the Global Oil Club, a premier forum of leading international energy companies.
Ojulari also called for co-investment and collaborative innovation to address Africa’s energy poverty and enhance shared prosperity.
“Africa’s energy future must be built on collaboration, innovation, and inclusion. NNPC Limited stands ready to co-create solutions that will deliver real impact,” he stated.
The NNPC Ltd’s boss also led a delegation of the company to the NNPC exhibition booth, where he was received by Executive Vice President, Business Services, Sophia Mbakwe, alongside other top executives.
The visit, attended by the Chairman and members of NNPC’s Board, showcased unified corporate leadership and underscored NNPC’s strategic engagement at one of the world’s most influential energy gatherings.
According to a statement released by the Company on Monday, the 2025 ADIPEC with the theme, “Energy Intelligence. Impact,” aligns closely with NNPC Limited’s transformation into a commercially driven global energy company.
“Throughout Day 1, the GCEO held strategic meetings with international energy leaders on gas infrastructure, decarbonisation, and upstream investments,” it said.
NNPC’s Executive Vice President, Upstream, Mr. Udy Ntia, also featured in the Global Strategy Session titled “Beyond the Barrel: The Future of Upstream Strategy,” where he reaffirmed the company’s readiness to co-invest in sustainable solutions and scale Nigeria’s oil and gas production in line with national and continental energy goals.
The NNPC Limited booth at ADIPEC 2025 has drawn global attention, spotlighting the company’s transformative projects in gas development, methane reduction, clean energy, and human capital investment.
