Ned Nwoko releases video, accuses Regina Daniels’ brother of invading his home

Senator Ned Nwoko has released a video and issued a detailed statement accusing his wife, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, and her brother, Sammy West, of disrupting peace in his Abuja home amid a deepening family crisis.

Nwoko alleged that Sammy repeatedly stormed his residence, harassed domestic staff, and brought friends linked to alleged substance use, especially during periods when the lawmaker was not around.

According to him, he had financially supported Regina’s family for years, including sponsoring Sammy’s education, renting an apartment for him in Abuja, and purchasing a house in Asaba for Regina and her relatives.

“It is painful that the same people I helped are now disrupting my home,” he said.

The senator also claimed that Regina has been battling substance dependence, alleging that medical doctors advised controlled access during her therapy, an instruction he says her siblings regularly violated.

He cited repeated clashes, including one incident where Sammy allegedly forced his way into the compound around 4 a.m., an encounter Nwoko says frightened his children.

He also dismissed claims of violence against Regina, stating that he neither drinks nor smokes and does not promote violence of any form.

However, Regina’s siblings have countered the narrative, accusing the senator of using his influence to detain Sammy, who is reportedly still in police custody.

The police have yet to issue an official statement regarding the situation.

The unfolding family dispute has sparked intense public debate, with supporters on both sides demanding clarity and accountability.
