Structured water may lower salt, boost health – Study

A research conducted by QNET’s Scientific Advisory Board shows that structured water may reduce sodium levels in water, thereby helping to maintain healthy blood pressure.

The study focused on the Amezcua Biodisc 3, a wellness product that restructures water, improves hydration, and enhances mineral content.

Structured water is water that has been treated to change the way its molecules are arranged, which may help the body absorb it better and improve overall hydration.”

Speaking at the QNET product expo in Abuja on Saturday, Director of Research, Covenant University, and member of the QNET Scientific Advisory Board, Prof. Abiodun Adebayo, explained that the research focused on the Amezcua Biodisc 3, a wellness product that uses Amezcua Resonance Technology, ART, to restructure water, enhance cellular hydration, and improve overall mineral composition.

Professor Adebayo said, “We tested water samples from various sources, including rainwater, laboratory-generated water, and bottled water. Some were restructured using the Amezcua Biodisc 3 while others were left unstructured. The results were significant.”

According to the research findings, structured water reduced sodium levels while enhancing potassium content. High sodium intake is linked to hypertension, while potassium is beneficial for the body.

The product also demonstrated the ability to reduce microbial content, including coliform bacteria, without replacing the need for proper water purification.

The study further explored the effect of structured water on local drinks such as palm wine, kunu, zobo, tiger nut drinks, and malt beverages. Structured samples showed improved stability in physicochemical properties, enhanced mineral content, and reduced microbial load.

Prof. Adebayo also shared insights from an ongoing fish study, where catfish exposed to water restructured with the Amezcua Biodisc 3 showed increased growth and better overall health compared to those in unstructured water, and high microbial content negatively affected their development. However, he cautioned that tilapia cannot survive in structured water due to the high energy it generates.

He emphasized that the Amezcua Biodisc 3 is a wellness product intended for prevention rather than treatment. “It is not a pharmaceutical product and does not cure diseases. Its main function is to support overall health and prevent disease,” he said.

Also speaking, QNET’s Regional Strategy and Marketing Manager, Bernie Gaksch, highlighted other products including the Chi Pendant, designed to protect users from EMF radiation, QNET Water Filtration System and QNET Air Filtration System, and nutritional supplements like EDGE3, which supports the body’s production of glutathione to boost immunity.

Gaksch also discussed QNET’s qLearn e-learning platform, aimed at educating young network marketers and entrepreneurs on business skills, cybersecurity, IT, and presentation skills.

“These certificate courses are designed to enhance the CVs of young Nigerians, helping them gain valuable knowledge beyond formal degrees,” he said.

On sustainability, Gaksch noted that QNET produces watches in Switzerland with collections made entirely from recycled materials. Every watch purchase contributes to tree planting initiatives, reflecting the company’s commitment to environmental responsibility.

He said, QNET products like the Biodisc 3 are durable, with some lasting up to 30 years.

While the initial purchase may be high, the long-term benefits, including improved hydration, reduced sodium, and lower microbial content, make the investment worthwhile.
