The Nigeria Revenue Service, NRS, has announced plans to launch Rev360, its next-generation revenue administration platform, on April 30, 2026, as part of efforts to modernise Nigeria’s tax system.
In a statement issued by its management, the Service described the new platform as a major milestone in its drive to enhance efficiency, transparency, and overall taxpayer experience.
According to the NRS, Rev360 represents a significant leap in the evolution of tax administration, building on earlier digital reforms that improved compliance and reduced physical interactions between taxpayers and the Service.
“Rev360 represents the next phase in the evolution of tax administration within the Service. From the early era of fragmented processes, the NRS transitioned to a more digital and accessible system through platforms such as TaxPro Max,” the statement said.
It noted that while previous platforms enabled electronic filing and streamlined compliance processes, the new system introduces a more advanced and integrated framework tailored to meet the growing demands of taxpayers and the economy.
“Building on these gains, Rev360 introduces a more advanced, integrated, and intelligent ecosystem designed to meet the growing needs of taxpayers and the economy,” the Service added.
The NRS explained that the platform signals a transition to what it described as “Tax Administration 3.0,” characterised by end-to-end automation, real-time reporting, and seamless integration of tax processes into users’ systems.
“With Rev360, the Service intentionally moves towards Tax Administration 3.0… This shift enables faster processing, improved decision-making, enhanced compliance, and a more seamless user experience,” it stated.
The Service further noted that taxpayers would benefit from greater flexibility and improved interaction channels under the new system.
The introduction of Rev360, according to the agency, aligns with its broader technology advancement strategy under the leadership of its Executive Chairman, Zacch Adedeji, whose vision continues to drive innovation and service delivery.
It added that the platform underscores the Service’s commitment to strengthening institutional capacity, boosting taxpayer confidence, and aligning Nigeria’s tax administration with global best practices.
Following a successful pilot phase, the NRS disclosed that the rollout will begin with medium and emerging taxpayers as the first stage of implementation.
The Service said it has adopted a structured, phased approach to ensure system stability and provide adequate support to users during the transition period.
It also highlighted ongoing efforts to ensure readiness ahead of the launch, including comprehensive communication, training, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
While reaffirming its commitment to reform, the NRS stressed that it would continue to upgrade its systems to deliver efficient, transparent, and taxpayer-focused services.
“Rev360 represents a key milestone in this journey, reinforcing the Service’s dedication to innovation and national development,” the statement added.
