Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has commended President Bola Tinubu for the progress recorded in the first two years of his Renewed Hope Agenda, particularly on the developments being recorded in the FCT.
Speaking during a routine inspection of ongoing projects across the territory, Wike described the President’s leadership as unprecedented, emphasizing that despite political differences, achievements must be acknowledged.
“Even if you don’t like someone as a person, when they do good things, you must say yes. Mr. President has done tremendously well, and that is why people across the country are calling for him to be given another chance.”
Wike noted the visible improvements in infrastructure and governance within the FCT, stressing that the territory had never experienced such progress before, insisting that “Abuja is now working. That is the simple truth, and it is thanks to Mr. President.”
The minister while making reference to the popular public slogan “4 plus 4,” noted that it signifies the desire of Nigerians for the President to serve a second four-year term based on his performance so far.
“We are appointees of the President, and we thank God for the opportunity to be part of this historic administration. The Renewed Hope Agenda is real, and Nigerians can see it.”
