The All Progressives Congress, APC, has dismissed reports claiming that it has fixed prices for its expression of interest and nomination forms ahead of the 2027 general elections, describing the information as false and misleading.
In a statement issued on Saturday in Abuja, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, said the alleged “price list” circulating in some sections of the media did not emanate from the APC.
He stressed that the party had not taken any decision regarding the sale or pricing of nomination forms for the 2027 elections.
“The report is fake and a product of the writer’s imagination. No decision has been made on the sale or pricing of forms for the 2027 general elections,” Morka said.
The APC urged its members, the media, and the general public to disregard the report in its entirety, warning against the spread of unverified information.
The party reiterated its commitment to due process, noting that any official decision on nomination forms would be communicated through its established channels.
The clarification comes amid growing political activities and early permutations ahead of the 2027 general elections.
