Julius Berger targets new deals, partnerships at Big 5 Construct Nigeri

Julius Berger Nigeria Plc is set to seek new business opportunities and strengthen strategic partnerships at the Big 5 Construct Nigeria 2026 exhibition scheduled to hold in Lagos from September 22 to 24.

The construction company said the event, to be held at the Landmark Centre, would provide an opportunity to showcase its engineering and construction capabilities while engaging key stakeholders across Nigeria’s infrastructure sector.

The annual exhibition is expected to attract more than 10,000 visitors, over 170 exhibitors and participants from more than 20 countries.

Julius Berger said it would use the platform to highlight its portfolio of major infrastructure projects and showcase innovations in construction solutions, industrial development, building technologies and sustainable engineering.

The company is also expected to engage government agencies, developers, consultants, manufacturers, investors and other industry stakeholders on potential partnerships and project opportunities.

Speaking ahead of the exhibition, a senior official in Julius Berger’s Strategic Business Development Unit, Filipe Lopes, described the event as an important platform for industry engagement and innovation.

He said the company would use the exhibition to showcase its capabilities, explore innovative solutions and strengthen partnerships that could deliver greater value to clients.

Industry analysts said Julius Berger’s participation aligns with its focus on innovation, operational excellence and sustainable growth.

They noted that the exhibition could provide opportunities for the company to deepen relationships with existing clients and pursue new engagements in transportation infrastructure, commercial construction, housing, industrial facilities and energy-related projects.

The organisers said Big 5 Construct Nigeria had become a major business platform for the construction sector, connecting exhibitors with decision-makers, buyers and industry leaders.

The event will also feature Big 5 Talks, a series of CPD-certified sessions covering architecture and design, project management, construction technology, sustainable building materials, cost management and emerging trends in the built environment.

Julius Berger said its participation would reinforce its commitment to innovation and Nigeria’s infrastructure development while providing an avenue to identify technologies and partnerships capable of improving project delivery and creating long-term value for clients and communities.
