Unity schools old students association holds plenary in london

History was made in UK when the first Plenary of Unity Schools Old Students Association (USOSA)( the incorporated Trustees of all the 104 Federal Government Colleges, Federal Government Girls Colleges, Kings College and Queens College) took place on 14 September 2024. The first of its kind outside Nigeria. This milestone reflects USOSA’s commitment and tireless efforts to improve and shape better framework policies across the board in all Unity schools in Nigeria.

This bold initiative will bring together members from different Unity Schools resident in the UK to socialise, reminisce and create a platform for giving back to our former schools and indeed service to our dear country Nigeria.

The USOSA UK Leader Olorogun Chileme Hayes, the Ughana of Okere Urhobo Kingdom, of Federal Government College Warri extraction, (1979 Class Set) has this to say:

“I congratulate USOSAns in UK for joining the USOSA train as champions and agents of change in advancing quality of education in all unity schools in Nigeria.

We must have perseverance and, above all, confidence in ourselves. We must believe that we are gifted for something, and that the USOSA vision, at whatever cost, must be attained.

Central to achieving our vision relies on your involvement, input and commitment. We can only deliver on our vision and work plan and address the challenges and opportunities ahead together, with every one of us playing our part, no matter how small. Sometimes it is the smallest things that can have the most profound effect.

We can do anything that we decide to do if we are determined. We can act to change and make a difference to generations yet unborn.
The process is its own reward.

This event also provides us with the opportunity to continue to share and rekindle our bond and brotherhood. I am truly proud to be part of this unique and supportive community.”
