The Federal Capital Territory Administration has appointed Nancy Sabanti Nathan, as its Acting Head of Service.
Nathan, who until now was the Permanent Secretary in the Youth Development Secretariat, will serve in acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service.
Her appointment follows the death of Mrs Grace Adayilo, who passed away last week Monday while serving as the FCTA Head of Service.
Part of the statement announcing her appointment reads, “Mrs Nancy Sabanti Nathan was appointed as a result of the death, last week Monday, of Mrs Grace Adayilo, the FCTA Head of Service.”
The statement which was issued by the Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media to the FCT Minister, Lere Olayinka, further added, “She had served as the Director Finance and Administration in the office of the Honourable Minister of FCT before her appointment as Permanent Secretary. The appointment takes immediate effect.”
It states that Nathan’s appointment takes immediate effect.
